- Salary: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
- Requirements: Minimum 1 year in a veterinary hospital or clinic setting preferred
Purdy Veterinary Hospital is on the hunt for a Veterinary Receptionist to add to its fantastic team. With over 30 years of award-winning pet care, we are looking for a dedicated and professional receptionist to join our front-end crew in a fast-paced environment where high standards of service and efficiency are expected. You will play a vital role in maintaining our well-deserved reputation as a hospital that owners trust with the care of their beloved pets. The ideal candidate must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor.

What You’ll Do
- Greet clients and patients in a professional, welcoming manner with a smile
- Answer the multi-line phone system promptly and politely
- Check and respond to emails and texts regarding appointments, medication refills, and client inquiries throughout the day
- Manage multi-doctor schedule and schedule appointments accurately and efficiently
- Process payments, manage check-ins, and check-outs
- Maintain accurate client records
- Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to ensure the day runs smoothly
- Be able to communicate basic animal health care inquiries
