Position Details
- Role: Pet Care Attendant
- Status: Full-time
- Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
- Schedule: Four-day workweeks, one weekend day is required.

At Home Animal Hospital is looking for an Animal Care Attendant to add to our boarding team of compassionate professionals who aim to provide high-quality veterinary care. What You Can Bring
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
- Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively use our practice management software
- Proficiency in scheduling boarding appointments accurately
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
What You’ll Do
- Assist with the daily care and maintenance of animals in the kennel
- Feed and provide water to animals according to their specific needs
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and other animal living areas
- Monitor and report any changes in animal behavior or health to the supervisor
- Walk dogs and provide exercise and socialization
- Administer medications as directed by the veterinarian or supervisor
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing animals
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, including answering questions and providing information about services
- Must have strong attendance record.
