What You'll Bring as a Veterinary Receptionist
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in veterinary or medical reception/customer service
Excellent communication and multitasking skills
A positive attitude and passion for teamwork
Knowledge of veterinary terminology and abbreviations is a plus!
What You’ll Do
Greet clients with warmth and positivity (two-legged and four-legged alike!)
Answer phones, take messages, and assist clients with basic questions
Provide information about our services and help clients choose the best options for their pets
Recognize and prioritize urgent cases; alert medical staff when needed
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Handle invoicing, payments, and daily deposits
Promote a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Stay familiar with infectious and zoonotic diseases to ensure a safe environment for all
