• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Rosedale Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician/Client Care Specialist (hybrid position) to join our team. We are a growing, full-service hospital serving our community in North-Central Austin and the surrounding areas. At Rosedale Veterinary Clinic, our priority is to provide high-quality, compassionate care.

Our veterinary technician/client care specialists play an integral role in providing exceptional care. We are willing to invest in and train the right candidate who is a fit for our team. Our goal is to take the best care of those walking through the doors as well as those that work behind them. A caring and compassionate attitude toward patients, clients and fellow team members is essential. We want everyone who walks through our doors to feel welcome and valued.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of one year of experience, who possesses a desire and motivation to grow, learn and be part of a collaborative veterinary care team. Our ideal candidate would be ready to contribute with:

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring
• Competency in emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement
• Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff.
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
• Proper scheduling and payment processing
