What You’ll Do
As a Kennel Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of the team that keeps our patients healthy and happy. Your days will be filled with tail wags, teamwork, and lots of hands-on care. You’ll:
- Let your passion for excellent patient care shine — every day
- Provide compassionate care and attention to all boarding and hospitalized pets
- Feed, walk, bathe, and monitor pets throughout the day
- Maintain clean and comfortable kennels, cages, and treatment areas
- Assist the veterinary team as needed during exams or treatments
- Ensure pets receive medication, water, and enrichment as directed
- Keep our hospital spotless by helping with laundry, dishes, and general cleaning
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for pets and clients alike
- Communicate with warmth, clarity, and confidence
