What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a veterinary practice or kennel setting
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and customer service skills
- A calm, friendly, and professional demeanor — even on busy days
- Reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude
- Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
- Critical thinking, curiosity, and a can-do attitude
- A love for teamwork, teaching, and being taught
- Commitment to compassionate medicine and a great client experience
What You’ll Do
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’re the heart of our front desk and the bridge between our clients and clinical team. You’ll:
- Let your passion for excellent patient care shine — every day
- Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer and manage calls through a multiline phone system
- Schedule and confirm appointments for both general and emergency services
- Process payments and insurance claims with accuracy
- Communicate thoughtfully with clients — including follow-ups and updates
- Maintain hospital and patient hygiene standards
- Assist with documentation, billing, and record keeping
- Provide compassionate care and support for hospitalized pets and their families
- Celebrate the moments that matter — birthdays, babies, anniversaries
- Listen like a pro while clients tell you why their pet is the G.O.A.T.
