What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring

  • 1+ years of veterinary reception experience preferred (or strong customer service skills and a passion for pets).
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
  • Comfort with phones, scheduling systems, and digital recordkeeping.
  • A naturally empathetic, patient-focused attitude.
  • A desire to be part of a supportive, close-knit team that lifts each other up.
  • A positive outlook — and maybe a love of coffee, too!
  • Critical thinking, curiosity, and a can-do attitude
  • Reliability and professionalism in a fast-paced setting

What You’ll Do

  • Greet every client with warmth, professionalism, and a smile.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls with efficiency and empathy.
  • Schedule appointments, process payments, and maintain accurate client and patient records.
  • Work confidently within veterinary management software to update charts and manage communications.
  • Provide clear, compassionate client education and follow-up.
  • Collaborate closely with the medical team to ensure excellent patient care and smooth daily flow.
  • Handle multiple priorities while keeping calm under pressure — you’re the first and last impression our clients have!
  • Support teammates and welcome learning (yours and theirs)
