- Schedule: Flexible 4-day work week with rotating Saturday shifts

KSAH is looking for a Pet Care Attendant/Veterinary Receptionist to add to their fantastic team. Ever wonder what it would be like to work in the vet field and still have a life? Well, at Killewald, we don't work nights or holidays, and our 7-1 shifts on Saturdays are rotated through, so we have most weekends off!

What You’ll Do
This hybrid role blends hands-on patient care with excellent client service. You’ll move between the front desk and the treatment area, helping our day run smoothly and ensuring both pets and people feel cared for.
Client Care (Reception) Duties:
- Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and handle messages efficiently
- Process payments, balance cash drawers, and manage daily financial transactions
- Maintain and update patient records and contact information
- Prepare and review invoices, estimates, and consent forms
- Support communication between clients and the medical team
- Monitor the flow of appointments to help the team stay on schedule
- Keep the lobby tidy, welcoming, and fully stocked
Pet Care Attendant Duties:
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
- Comfort and safely restrain pets during exams or treatments
- Clean and prepare exam rooms and treatment areas
- Monitor and care for boarding and hospitalized patients
- Perform basic husbandry tasks (feeding, walking, cleaning kennels)
- Restock supplies and ensure all areas are organized and ready for the next patient
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the hospital to uphold our high standards of care
- Communicate with warmth, clarity, and confidence
- Support teammates and welcome learning (yours and theirs)
