- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts. Rotating Saturdays (8 am - noon)

How You'll Contribute
- Assisting clients in person, over the phone, and via email by scheduling appointments and answering questions.
- Contributing to a great visit, checking clients in when they arrive, and following internal processes each time.
- Checking clients out when their appointment is over, making sure they have follow-up care scheduled when needed, and collecting payment for their pet’s visit.
- Making sure to carefully follow practice policies and procedures designed to WOW pet parents with our high-quality and compassionate care.
- Assisting your team members with a variety of general duties such as helping to keep the reception area neat and tidy, drafting memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Sharing your unique gifts and talents with the team by suggesting new ideas or ways we can show how passionate we are about helping pets live long, healthy lives!
What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a client-facing role providing high-quality, professional customer service in person and over the phone. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must!
- Superior relationship-building skills. Are you great at remembering the small things clients share and then enjoy asking them about it the next time they come in?
- Must be tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software and enter data with accuracy and consistency.
- Dependability. Clients count on us to be there for their furry (and not-so-furry) family members.
- Prior veterinary experience is not required, but a love for animals and a sincere interest in the animal care field are essential!
