  • Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We are an AAHA-accredited animal hospital that prides itself on high-quality medicine and client service. As the first and last impression for our clients, our receptionists play a vital role in ensuring every visit is a positive, seamless, and welcoming experience.


What You’ll Do:

  • Be the face of our clinic! Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Deliver outstanding client service. Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist clients with questions about services, products, and pet care.
  • Be a problem solver. Help manage client concerns with patience, empathy, and efficiency.
  • Keep things running smoothly. Maintain accurate client and patient records, process payments, and ensure efficient communication between pet owners and our veterinary team.
  • Stay organized in a fast-paced setting. Multitask while maintaining a friendly demeanor, even during busy times.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and patients in a friendly, professional manner
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage client communications
  • Assist veterinary staff with basic patient handling and treatment support
  • Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, record maintenance, and invoicing
  • Support overall clinic operations as needed
  • Maintain a multi-use phone line system


Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfort handling animals in a clinical environment
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
  • Basic computer skills and attention to detail
  • Veterinary or animal care experience preferred
  • Experience with Cornerstone preferred
  • Familiarity with canine & feline vaccines preferred

  • Previous veterinary or hospitality experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidate.
