We are a busy general practice veterinary clinic providing preventive care, diagnostics, and treatment for companion animals. Our team focuses on building long-term relationships with clients while delivering high-quality, compassionate care to pets at every stage of life.
Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable and personable Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our front desk team. In a general practice setting, you’ll help manage a steady flow of wellness visits, vaccinations, and routine medical cases while ensuring each client feels welcomed and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and pets in a friendly, professional manner
- Answer phones and schedule routine appointments (wellness exams, vaccines, rechecks)
- Manage appointment flow and assist with daily scheduling needs
- Check patients in and out, ensuring accurate records
- Process payments and explain invoices clearly
- Communicate with veterinary staff regarding patient status and client needs
- Provide basic education on preventive care (vaccines, flea/tick, wellness plans)
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area
Qualifications
- 1+ year of customer service experience (veterinary or medical office preferred)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Compassion for animals and excellent client care skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a general practice veterinary clinic
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and preventive care services
- Experience with practice management software a plus
