Position Details

  • Role: Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 6 pm, One day off during the week (4 10 hour days)

This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys client interaction while also supporting patient care behind the scenes.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer phones, route calls, and respond to voicemails promptly
  • Schedule appointments and manage a multi-doctor calendar efficiently
  • Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate records
  • Process payments and handle invoices
  • Clearly communicate hospital policies, services, and pricing
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and treatments
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas
  • Stock supplies and communicate inventory needs
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including disinfecting surfaces, laundry, and end-of-day tasks


What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in a veterinary setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • A compassionate, client-focused approach
  • Comfort working hands-on with animals
  • Basic computer and administrative skills
