Position Details
Role: Veterinary Receptionist
Status: Part-time (28–32 hours per week)
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Three shifts per week (8:45 a.m.–6:00 p.m.), one Saturday per month (8:45 a.m.–12:00 p.m.), no major holidays

What You'll Do
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Handle all front desk interactions with enthusiasm and exceptional customer service
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized daily schedule
- Answer phones, emails, and client inquiries promptly and professionally
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain accurate patient records within the practice management system
- Communicate treatment plans and follow-up instructions between clients and the veterinary team
- Manage client communications through web-based messaging platforms and email
- Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming reception area
What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring
- Previous veterinary receptionist or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and basic pet care practices
- Familiarity with medical record keeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding client service
