Salary: $18.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Five days per week with a flexible schedule; Saturday availability required

Southern California Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our multi-doctor, full-service hospital. As the first point of contact for our clients and patients, you'll play an essential role in creating a welcoming experience while helping our hospital operate smoothly each day.

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
• Answer multiple phone lines and provide exceptional customer service
• Schedule appointments and help manage daily patient flow
• Review treatment plans with clients and answer general questions
• Process payments and maintain accurate client records
• Support pharmacy operations and prescription fulfillment
• Assist veterinarians and hospital staff as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Handle confidential medical records with accuracy and professionalism

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring

• Previous veterinary receptionist experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
• A positive attitude and collaborative mindset
• High level of computer proficiency
• Outstanding telephone etiquette
• Experience with Avimark software and international health certificates is a plus
• A willingness to work Saturdays as part of a flexible weekly schedule
