Position Details
Role: Veterinary Receptionist
Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: One or two weekdays off each week with rotating Saturday shifts (7:45 a.m.–2:00 p.m.)

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
  • Answer multi-line phones, route calls appropriately, and respond to voicemails promptly
  • Schedule appointments and efficiently manage a multi-doctor appointment schedule
  • Check clients and patients in and out while maintaining accurate records
  • Process invoices, collect payments, and review treatment estimates with clients
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding appointments, hospital services, and follow-up care
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Work closely with doctors, technicians, assistants, and fellow receptionists to keep the hospital running smoothly
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience during both routine and emotional visits
