What Our Animal Care Attendants Do
- Check boarding patients in and out while reviewing care instructions with clients
- Provide exceptional daily care for boarding patients, including feeding, walking, monitoring, and cleaning
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary boarding and treatment areas
- Observe patient behavior and report any changes to the veterinary team
- Accurately document patient care and client communications
- Follow hospital protocols for infectious disease prevention and biosecurity
- Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and their pets
- Work collaboratively with doctors, technicians, and fellow team members to provide exceptional patient care
What Our Animal Care Attendants Bring
- At least one year of Animal Care Attendant, kennel, or veterinary hospital experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
- Ability to multitask in a busy hospital environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of infectious disease prevention and sanitation protocols
- Passion for animal care and commitment to providing outstanding service
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 40 pounds
- A positive attitude—and the ability to withstand endless puppy kisses and kitty headbutts
