What Our Animal Care Attendants Do

  • Check boarding patients in and out while reviewing care instructions with clients
  • Provide exceptional daily care for boarding patients, including feeding, walking, monitoring, and cleaning
  • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary boarding and treatment areas
  • Observe patient behavior and report any changes to the veterinary team
  • Accurately document patient care and client communications
  • Follow hospital protocols for infectious disease prevention and biosecurity
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and their pets
  • Work collaboratively with doctors, technicians, and fellow team members to provide exceptional patient care

What Our Animal Care Attendants Bring

  • At least one year of Animal Care Attendant, kennel, or veterinary hospital experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
  • Ability to multitask in a busy hospital environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of infectious disease prevention and sanitation protocols
  • Passion for animal care and commitment to providing outstanding service
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 40 pounds
