Looking for a customer service role where you can help animals, support their families, and learn something new every day? We’re expanding our reception team and looking for three friendly, dependable Customer Service Receptionists who enjoy helping people and thrive in a busy environment.

This position is ideal for someone who brings a strong work ethic, a compassionate approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the person or pet in front of them. Veterinary experience is helpful, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.

What You’ll Do

  • Answer incoming calls using a five-line telephone system.
  • Schedule appointments and help manage the hospital’s daily calendar.
  • Monitor and respond to client emails.
  • Make outbound calls to follow up with pet owners.
  • Contact other veterinary hospitals to request medical records for shared patients.
  • Check patients and clients in and out efficiently.
  • Present and explain charges for veterinary services.
  • Process payments accurately and professionally.
  • Answer client questions about hospital products and services.
  • Educate clients about non-medical pet-care topics, including heartworm prevention, flea prevention, house-training, and local training resources.
  • Manage electronic medical records, patient charts, and client correspondence.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Help keep the interior and exterior of the hospital neat and presentable.
  • Participate in shared opening and closing cleaning duties.
  • Clean animal waste from the lobby and other hospital areas when needed.
