Status: Full-Time
Salary: $16 – $18 per hour
Schedule: 35 hours per week, including nights and weekends

Countryside Veterinary Hospital is looking for a compassionate and dependable Pet Care Attendant to join our team. Our Pet Care Attendants play an important role in keeping hospitalized and boarding pets comfortable, cared for, and safe while helping maintain a clean and welcoming hospital environment.

What Our Pet Care Attendants Do

  • Provide attentive daily care for hospitalized and boarding pets
  • Walk and exercise dogs according to hospital and boarding protocols
  • Feed pets and provide fresh water according to their individual care instructions
  • Clean and sanitize dog runs, cages, and kennel areas
  • Clean and maintain cat cages in both kennel and hospital areas
  • Monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, comfort, or condition and communicate concerns to the veterinary team
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kennel area
  • Keep animal-care spaces stocked and ready for patients
  • Interact with clients in a friendly, compassionate, and professional manner
  • Follow hospital protocols to help maintain a safe environment for patients, clients, and teammates
  • Work independently and complete assigned responsibilities reliably
  • Jump in to support teammates and hospital operations wherever needed
