What Our Veterinary Receptionist Do

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll play an essential role in creating a welcoming, organized, and compassionate experience for our clients while helping the entire hospital run smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Warmly welcoming clients and patients
  • Answering and directing high-volume phone calls
  • Providing professional and compassionate telephone service
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Supporting appointment scheduling and daily workflow
  • Updating client and patient records
  • Processing payments accurately
  • Communicating clearly with clients and fellow team members
  • Helping clients navigate questions and next steps
  • Performing general clerical and administrative duties
  • Supporting veterinarians, technicians, and fellow reception team members
  • Helping maintain an organized and efficient front desk
  • Contributing to a positive client experience from the first phone call through the end of the visit
