Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA-certified veterinary hospital located in the heart of the bustling Bay Area. Our practice includes both our Main Clinic and our AAFP Gold Certified Cat Clinic, with modern facilities that allow us to provide high-quality veterinary medicine to companion animals and exotic patients. We have a well-established and loyal clientele and a collaborative clinic culture that values teamwork, fellowship, continuing education, and the well-being of our team.

 

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with Saturdays as needed.

 

Compensation: $38–$43 per hour, depending on experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to hospital team members
  • Foster a positive, engaged, and accountable team culture
  • Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure smooth hospital operations and alignment on hospital goals and priorities
  • Build and maintain a strong, collaborative working relationship with the Chief of Staff and medical team to support clinical excellence and team success
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Support employee engagement, team development, and retention initiatives
  • Support inventory management, hospital operations, and administrative processes
  • Help identify opportunities to improve hospital workflows, efficiency, and the overall client and team experience
  • Help create an efficient, organized, and welcoming environment for clients, patients, and team members
  • Lead by example and help uphold Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic's core values of Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Progressive Medicine, Compassion, Personal Touch, and Family

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred
  • A team-oriented professional who is passionate about veterinary medicine and supporting veterinary teams
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to build relationships, motivate team members, and lead by example
  • Experience in customer service, operations, healthcare, hospitality, veterinary medicine, or team leadership roles is a plus
  • A positive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to balance people leadership and day-to-day hospital operations
  • Someone who is committed to helping team members grow, learn, and succeed in their roles
