Role: Experienced Client Service Representative (CSR)
Status: Full-time
Salary: $18.00–$22.00 per hour
Schedule: Four days per week, Monday through Friday, with weekends off; scheduling flexibility is required

Commencement Bay Animal Hospital is a growing veterinary practice built around compassion, education, communication, and a shared mission of helping people and their pets. Our strong leadership team places a meaningful emphasis on mentorship, training, and supporting team members as they grow.
Our hospital provides both general practice and urgent care services, giving our Client Service Representatives the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and develop knowledge across multiple areas of the hospital. What You’ll Do
- Serve as a primary point of communication for clients throughout their experience with the hospital
- Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate customer service in person and over the phone
- Schedule and coordinate appointments accurately and efficiently
- Ask appropriate questions, gather information, and relay details clearly to the medical team
- Manage client communications using strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work with multi-line phone systems, email, and veterinary practice software
- Support basic triage communication and learn to identify situations that may require urgent attention
- Use basic veterinary terminology and knowledge of common animal medical concerns when communicating with clients
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and fellow client service team members
- Maintain a professional, positive, and organized front desk environment
- Follow established hospital processes and communication standards
- Contribute to a workplace where team members can have fun, stay positive, and enjoy the work they do
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in a customer service representative or reception role within a healthcare setting
- Veterinary experience is preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities
- Positive, upbeat, and goal-oriented approach to work
- Scheduling flexibility
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and professional in a busy veterinary environment
- Basic understanding of veterinary terminology and animal medical concerns
- Willingness to learn more about veterinary triage and hospital operations
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and Microsoft Outlook preferred
- Experience with AVImark veterinary software preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive team culture
