We’re currently hiring a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. We’re looking for someone who values cats, teamwork, kindness, and growth as much as we do. What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do
- Schedule appointments and efficiently manage a multi-doctor calendar
- Check patients in and out while ensuring client and patient information is accurate
- Collect payments and process invoices and returns
- Handle prescription and refill requests
- Manage appointment flow and communicate effectively with the medical team
- Recognize situations that may require same-day evaluation, urgent or emergency care, or routine appointment scheduling based on established clinic protocols
- Help create a positive, compassionate experience for clients and their cats
- Support safe and effective patient handling and restraint using low-stress or Fear Free techniques
- Work collaboratively with teammates to help keep the hospital organized and running smoothly
What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist
- Strong customer service and client communication skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint skills, with a focus on low-stress or Fear Free techniques
- Experience coordinating appointments, managing schedules, and optimizing clinic flow
- Comfort learning and using practice management software, including Avimark
- A positive, supportive approach and commitment to teamwork and mutual respect
- A desire to grow professionally while encouraging the growth of others
- A genuine appreciation for cats and the people who love them
