At Great Bay Doggie Daycare (GBDD) in picturesque Durham, NH, we believe dogs deserve more than a place to spend the day. Our goal is to provide the exercise, socialization, and mental stimulation that come from spending time with other dogs in a safe, controlled environment.

Our outdoor campus is designed with both dogs and their humans in mind. With sun and shade, pools, chairs, playground equipment, decks, and awnings for extra shade and rain protection, we’ve created an environment where dogs can play and our team can stay active alongside them.

We’re looking for a self-motivated, friendly, and experienced Dog Daycare Attendant to join us in a full-time, year-round position.

What Our Doggie Daycare Attendants Do

• Supervise dogs during group play and daycare activities
• Help provide appropriate exercise, socialization, and mental stimulation
• Monitor dog interactions and body language to maintain a safe environment
• Recognize changes in behavior and respond appropriately
• Think quickly and calmly when stressful situations arise
• Help maintain clean, comfortable, and organized play and care areas
• Support safe use of pools, playground equipment, decks, and other campus areas
• Remain attentive and engaged while supervising dogs for extended periods
• Communicate effectively with teammates and help create a positive environment
• Provide friendly customer service when interacting with pet owners

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in a doggy daycare and/or equine and barn setting is required
• Knowledge and understanding of dog body language
• Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in stressful situations
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to perform the lifting and physical activity required in an active animal-care environment
• Self-motivation and a strong work ethic
• Friendly, dependable, team-oriented attitude
• Comfort working outdoors and in an active environment
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and positive experience for every dog
• Customer service skills are a plus
