- Schedule: 4- or 5-day workweeks. Rotating Saturdays.

Winsted Hospital for Animals (WHFA) is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do
- Welcome clients and their pets with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to client questions and requests
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments
- Assist clients and patients with the check-in and check-out process
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records
- Manage prescription refill requests according to hospital protocols
- Relay messages and client concerns to veterinarians and medical team members
- Provide clients with accurate information regarding hospital services, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate communication between clients and the medical team
- Support daily hospital operations and help maintain an efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Provide exceptional customer service during both routine and emotionally challenging situations
What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring
- Previous veterinary reception, medical reception, or customer service experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
