Salary: Negotiable and based on experience

Schedule: Flexible weekly schedule with rotating half-day Saturdays

As our Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll be the first person clients meet and the one who helps them understand their pet’s care and choose a path that fits their needs.

This role is a great fit for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist or Client Service Representative (CSR) who already knows how fast a veterinary hospital moves and who cares about making every visit feel welcoming.

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

  • Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally in person and by phone
  • Schedule appointments, manage phone calls, and respond to client questions
  • Check clients in and out to keep the day’s workflow running smoothly
  • Maintain accurate client and patient records in the practice management system
  • Process invoices, payments, estimates, and client account updates accurately
  • Help clients understand recommended services, care options, and payment or financing resources
  • Communicate clearly with doctors, technicians, assistants, and leadership to support smooth patient care
  • Handle busy or emotional moments with patience, professionalism, and empathy
  • Keep the reception area organized, welcoming, and client-ready
  • Treat every pet and client with the same care and respect you would want for your own

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong communication skills and a real interest in helping people and pets
  • Comfort discussing estimates, payments, financing options, and next steps with clients
