Essential physical requirements:
The position is physically demanding, with a major amount of time spent standing. Must be able to lift and or carry objects up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and reaching are required.
Working Conditions:
Medical practice setting is located in an animal hospital. There will be exposure to animal dander, animal fluids, and animal noise. Hazardous materials are used in the practice.
General Expectations:

- Presents an effective personal appearance, and dresses in a professional manner. Scrubs or clean, casual work attire
- Maintains a clean and neat work environment
- Exhibits excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate with others in a clear, concise, accurate and timely manner.
- Shows a willingness to collaborate with others.
Facility tasks:
- Wash and dry all laundry. Keep smocks, lab coats, scrubs, linens in a neat and organized fashion.
- Restock towels and blankets as needed
- Keep the kennel areas clean at all times.
- Clean up all garbage, poop, and debris from the parking lot and around the hospital. This includes scooping the patient enclosure.
- Clean any areas of the hospital that have become soiled
- Work on Cleaning Checklist, weekly, monthly.
- Walking patients.
- Giving medications.
- Assisting technicians.
