Veterinary Services of Aiken is looking for a full-time Pet Care Attendant (PCA) to join our dedicated team. The PCA is an excellent way to learn how a veterinary hospital operates from the ground up. Our PCAs are essential to our daily functions by, among other things:

- Keeping track of pets’ belongings and making sure the kennel is neat and organized
- Administering medications to boarders as directed by a veterinarian
- Monitoring pets for any sign of illness or behavioral issues and bringing any concerns to the attention of a veterinary technician or veterinarian
- Ensuring our building is clean and odor-free by doing laundry, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning up pet accidents, keeping the restrooms clean and sanitary, and completing deep cleaning projects as needed.
We value employee wellbeing and offer great benefits, including:

Our ideal candidate is mature, able to work with minimal supervision, follow directions, and be a self-starter. Successful candidates will have reliable transportation and be able to meet a flexible schedule. Animal handling experience is a plus, but we are willing to train someone who understands that they need to learn safe, proper techniques that are in keeping with the hospital’s Fear-Free approach.
