A core part of the role is correlating these logs with login activities captured via Imprivata and providing insights through Tableau dashboards. Your work will ensure visibility, traceability, and enhanced security monitoring across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines in Databricks and Azure to collect audit logs from multiple sources.
- Develop pipelines that detect changes in underlying data where audit logs are not available.
Data Integration and Correlation:
- Integrate login data from Imprivata with audit logs to create a unified view of user actions and authentication events.
- Develop logic to correlate disparate log data sources to identify anomalies, unauthorized access, and other security events.
Data Investigation and Issue Resolution
- Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying and resolving data issues efficiently.
- Investigate anomalies in audit logs and other security-related data sources to support compliance and security initiatives.
Reporting and Analytics
- Create and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to provide visibility into user activity, system access patterns, and security events.
- Collaborate with security analysts and stakeholders to ensure dashboards meet operational security needs.
Compliance Monitoring:
- Ensure all data handling and processing adhere to security and compliance standards.
- Implement monitoring and alerting for data pipeline health and data anomalies.
- Monitor compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance monitoring tools and processes.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., PCI, SOX).
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with IT, HR, legal, and other departments to address security and compliance reporting needs.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports.
- Serve as a point of contact for security and compliance reporting matters.
Who we are Looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience is acceptable. A master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data pipelines, or data analytics.
- Proven experience working with audit logs or security-centric datasets.
Why Vetcor?
