Marketing Specialist

Vetcor is looking for a Marketing Specialist preferably based in the greater Dallas or Austin metro area. We are a leading veterinary company with 900 veterinary hospitals. The Marketing Specialist will support Vetcor hospital marketing efforts.  

Our Marketing team is growing with this additional support role for our hospital marketing team by executing marketing campaigns and helping manage online reputation, social media, and website updates. This role requires a combination of time management, customer service and flexibility and reports to the Sr. Marketing Specialist. 

A successful candidate will play an integral role in building and engaging with our veterinary hospitals in order to create effective strategies that will promote client retention and the long-term growth of each practice.  The Vetcor hospital marketing team manages all marketing initiatives in-house and is looking for a dynamic individual to join the team! 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Website Content Management: Optimize website content and make necessary updates as requested by hospital managers. Coordinate with the digital team to improve organic and paid search rankings.  

• Campaign Materials: Collaborate with hospital leaders to create marketing assets across various channels such as social media, email, and content marketing to promote unique hospital initiatives.  

• Social Media Support: Create monthly content for hospital social media channels. 

• Reputation Management Support: Monitor and manage hospital online reviews to maintain a positive brand image. 

• Client Communication: Develop campaigns, templates, and streamlined client communication through a savvy client software program.  

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related discipline preferred 

• 1-3 years’ experience in a marketing role 
• New graduates are encourage to apply with internship or work experience

• Strong organization and prioritization skills 

• Experience with making design updates in Canva templates 
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
