Our Marketing Team is Growing! We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Analyst to join our Marketing team at Vetcor. We are a leading veterinary company with 900 veterinary hospitals. This individual will report to our Chief Marketing Officer and play a key role in driving strategic marketing decisions by analyzing data, generating insights, and supporting marketing efforts related to hospital marketing tactics and recruitment marketing strategies. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to inform and optimize marketing strategies in the veterinary industry. This is a fully remote role, however, we prefer this person to be ideally based in Dallas or Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data from various sources, including web analytics, data warehouse, advertising performance, and social media insights.
- Partner with the BI team to support the automation of data acquisition and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track marketing performance metrics and KPIs.
- Provide actionable insights to marketing leadership help optimize campaigns and marketing strategies.
- Strategic Insights & Recommendations:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations and recruitment, to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in marketing tactics.
- Present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders to guide decision-making and refine marketing tactics.
- Market & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct competitive research and market analysis to help understand industry trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on findings to ensure Vetcor’s marketing efforts remain competitive and effective.
- Campaign Performance Optimization:
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns (email, social media, paid ads) related to both hospital and recruitment marketing efforts.
- Provide recommendations for optimization, A/B testing, and data-driven adjustments to improve campaign performance.
- Recruitment Marketing Support:
- Analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts to attract veterinary professionals to Vetcor-owned hospitals, including reviewing job posting performance, applicant tracking data, and employee retention metrics.
- Partner with HR and Recruitment teams to identify strategies for improving talent attraction and recruitment marketing effectiveness.
- Marketing Technology & Tools:
- Utilize marketing technology platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics/Console/Ads, SEMrush, Soci, etc.) for data extraction to gather insights and optimize marketing strategies.
- Stay up to date with new marketing technologies and trends to ensure Vetcor is leveraging best-in-class tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing analysis, with a focus on digital marketing, recruitment marketing, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems and SQL or other database experience.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Familiarity with the veterinary industry or healthcare marketing is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers based on data.
- A passion for the veterinary industry and supporting hospital marketing tactics and recruitment efforts.
