Who we are

Join Our Pack - Veterinary Recruiter Wanted!

Love connecting with people and passionate about pets? Vetcor is looking for a Veterinary Recruiter based in New York state or Ontario, Canada to support our growing network of veterinary practices in the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, pet-loving team within a purpose-driven and expanding company.

At Vetcor, recruiting is more than filling roles—it’s about building meaningful relationships. As a Veterinary Recruiter, you'll work hand-in-hand with our Operations team and hospital leaders to find veterinarians who are not only clinically strong, but also a great match for each practice’s unique culture. Your work will directly impact the future of community-focused pet care.

This remote role offers flexibility to work from anywhere in New York or Ontario, with occasional travel to visit practices, attend conferences, and support recruiting events.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full-cycle recruitment process: source, engage, screen, interview, and hire top veterinarian talent.
  • Partner with hospital and operations leadership to define hiring needs, clarify job expectations, and provide guidance throughout the selection process.
  • Develop and manage job ads that reflect each hospital’s personality while showcasing what makes Vetcor special.
  • Keep everything organized in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure timely, professional communication with candidates.
  • Represent Vetcor at career fairs, virtual events, and veterinary school programs.
  • Build long-term relationships with candidates, schools, and veterinary associations to grow your pipeline and enhance our presence in the veterinary community.

What We’re Looking For

  • Based in New York or Ontario, with a deep understanding of the Canadian market.
  • 2–4 years of recruiting experience, preferably in multi-site healthcare (veterinary, dental, or human medicine).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional communicator, proactive problem-solver, and relationship builder.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort working independently in a remote environment.

What's in it for you:
