We are looking for an Asset Management Specialist to support the lifecycle management of IT hardware assets across our organization. This role ensures accurate tracking, compliance, and efficient deployment of IT assets while providing exceptional customer service to staff. The technician will play a key role in ensuring the organization’s infrastructure remains secure, up-to-date, and aligned with operational needs. Will need to work closely with vendors used to support infrastructure projects. The technician will also be responsible for the coordination of repairs/RMA’s of company equipment that will be under warranty. The role requires to work in person, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm CST.

Responsibilities
Asset Management:
- Maintain accurate records of IT hardware inventory, including acquisition, deployment, and decommissioning
- Perform regular audits of hardware assets to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards
- Track hardware warranties and service agreements, ensuring timely renewals or replacements
Operational Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of hardware replacements and deployments to support hospital operations
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues promptly
- Ensure all hardware deployments are configured to meet security and compliance requirements
Project Coordination:
- Support infrastructure projects by managing asset-related tasks, including inventory tracking and resource allocation
- Coordinate with stakeholders to minimize disruptions during hardware replacements or installations
- Provide regular updates on project progress and asset statuses
Communication and Reporting:
- Communicate effectively with staff to guide hardware use and address concerns
- Generate reports on asset utilization, compliance, and lifecycle metrics for leadership review
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation for all asset management processes
Job Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in IT asset management, infrastructure support, or a related field
- Proficiency in IT asset management tools and practices
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with IT hardware lifecycle processes and security compliance standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
