Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Maple Leaf Veterinary Care Center is seeking a Full-time experienced veterinary assistant/veterinary receptionist to join our team in a hybridized role that will require at least one day of duties as a receptionist.  

Duties for veterinary assistants may include: 

• Obtaining diagnostics such as laboratory samples and radiographs 

• Administering vaccinations  

• Restraining patients 

• Providing nursing care 

• Filling medications and client education 

Duties for veterinary receptionist may include: 

• Communication via phone, email and in person with clients,  

• Scheduling appointments 

• Handling financial transactions  

• Data input.
