Pet Care Clinic of the High Country is seeking a reliable, hard-working Kennel Assistant to join our veterinary team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone interested in vet school, a vet tech program, or currently enrolled in an online vet tech course. You’ll work alongside our veterinary technicians and doctors to help provide high-quality care to patients while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment.
What You'll Do:
- Provide daily care for hospitalized patients
- Maintain clean, sanitary hospital environment (kennels, laundry, floors, etc.)
- Lift and move animals and supplies (up to 50 lbs independently)
- Assist veterinary technicians with animal handling and procedures
- Restock supplies, clean exam areas, and perform basic computer tasks
Ideal Candidate:
- Positive attitude, reliable work ethic, and attention to detail
- Comfortable with cleaning and physically demanding work
- strong interest in veterinary medicine (ideal for students or career starters)
- Experience is a plus, but not required – we will train the right candidate!
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Schedule:
Full-Time: Choose 4 x 10-hour days or 5 x 8-hour days
Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
