Who we are

Grady Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This particular position requires the individual to be proficient in both the front and back offices of the clinic. The Receptionist must be able to handle communications with all clients, vendors, and patients while performing clerical work and administrative tasks. The Receptionist will also be responsible for completing any filing, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and more. We're seeking an experienced professional who has strong interpersonal skills and is highly organized as well as compassionate and passionate about animals.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and direct telephone calls, emails, and visitors.
  • Answer questions and resolve problems for clients.
  • Track and manage client information.
  • Manage client referrals.
  • Maintain information and records on pets in the practice.
  • Understand different business plans in a veterinary practice.
  • Interpret medical terminology.
  • Create reports on clients in the practice.
  • Interact with technicians and staff.
