All Team Members Should Be Ready To:

  • Warmly welcome and compassionately care for boarding and daycare pets while demonstrating professional, courteous behavior toward clients and coworkers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Feed, water, walk, clean, medicate, and monitor the well-being of dogs, cats, and occasionally other companion animals.
  • Understand available services for boarding and daycare pets and clearly communicate with clients and team members.
  • Clean, stock, and sanitize all areas of the facility, including boarding spaces, common areas, and hospital grounds.
  • Remove trash, sweep, mop, and launder bedding and linens.
  • Perform basic grooming tasks such as baths, nail trims, and brush-outs for boarding and drop-off pets.
  • Withstand exposure to unpleasant odors and loud noises.
  • Safely handle and restrain animals of all sizes.

 

Preferred Requirements for Entry-Level Candidates:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating Saturday PM and Sunday shifts.
  • Preferred experience with animal handling and knowledge of animal behavior.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Preferred experience in the veterinary or animal care industry but not required.
  • Able to work a minimum of 34-40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Must be dependable, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and show a willingness to learn.
  • Able to stay productive, adapt quickly, and take appropriate initiative—while seeking guidance when needed.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously with team members and clients.

 

Work Hours

  • Monday – Friday: 6:50 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Rotating Saturday PM and Sunday Shifts Required
