Veterinary Receptionist - Auburn, ME

Are you a people person who loves animals just as much? Auburn Animal Center is looking for a full-time veterinary receptionist to join our team! We’re a bustling one-doctor practice that cares for small animals—and we pride ourselves on offering compassionate, personalized service to every pet and pet parent who walks through our door.

Our ideal candidate is upbeat, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. If you have at least one year of experience in a veterinary hospital, that’s a big plus—but we’re happy to train the right person who brings the right energy and eagerness to learn.

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask while staying cool under pressure
• Computer proficiency and comfort with phone systems
• Experience with Avimark is a bonus, but not required

Receptionist Responsibilities:

• Greeting clients with warmth and professionalism
• Managing multiple phone lines
• Scheduling appointments efficiently
• Processing payments and discussing financial options
• Keeping the front desk area clean and welcoming
