Veterinary Receptionist - Lacey, WA

Hawks Prairie Veterinary Hospital is looking for a part-time Receptionist to join our close-knit, five-doctor team! This role is perfect for someone seeking weekend work plus 1–2 weekday evenings, ideal for students, second job seekers, or anyone who wants a steady, meaningful part-time gig. 

Who You Are: 

• A people-person with a genuine love for pets 

• Confident working independently—especially on Saturdays 

• Quick on your feet and comfortable handling a variety of front-desk tasks 

• Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented 

• Able to keep your cool when the phones and the energy are both buzzing 

Your Schedule: 

• Every Saturday (required) 

• 1–2 weekday evening shifts (typically 2-6:15 PM) 

Flexibility exists, but consistency is key! 

What You'll Do: 

• Greet clients (both furry and human) 

• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage records 

• Process payments and handle client check-in/check-out 

• Support our medical team with administrative flow 

• Provide a friendly, calming presence for clients—even during busy moments
