Pet Medical Center of Pasco is ready to hire a daycare attendant to join our dedicated team of veterinary and pet-care professionals. Daycare attendants are the foundation of our Doggy Daycare and Pet Boarding team. This role provides high quality care to pets being boarded, and creates fun, safe, and engaging days for dogs in daycare.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides compassionate care with a professional and positive demeanor
- Prepares meals and medications for animals in boarding
- Provides exercise and engagement for all pets, both in boarding and daycare
- Maintains clean and comfortable kennel spaces for all pets
- Supervises dogs in daycare, ensuring a safe and fun day for all pets
Required Qualifications:
Skills & Abilities:
- Safe animal handling techniques
- Adherence to procedures and protocols
- Works with a “One Team” mindset
- Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months of prior animal care experience required
