Are you passionate about animal care and looking to join a dedicated team of pet lovers? Arlington Pet Hospital & Resort is currently seeking a reliable, hardworking, and compassionate Kennel Technician to help provide top-quality care for our animals.
This position supports pets coming to our Resort, which includes boarding and daycare. Among other responsibilities, Kennel Technicians:
- Provides daily care for animals in our boarding facility and our daycare rooms.
- Cleans and sanitizes kennels, daycare rooms and work areas to maintain a clean environment
- Monitors the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the supervisor or veterinarian
- Administers medications for boarding patients
- Gives baths, nail trims, and provides basic handling of the patients
- Monitors and interacts with the dogs in our daycare rooms.
