Cold Springs Animal Hospital is looking for a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our animal-loving team! If you enjoy caring for dogs and cats and want to be part of a supportive veterinary environment, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Feed, walk, and monitor the well-being of dogs and cats
- Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas
- Provide baths and basic hygiene care when needed
- Keep detailed records of food intake, elimination, and behavior
- Assist with patient handling during exams or treatments (as trained)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for all pets
- Administer medications as directed
Qualifications:
- Previous animal care or kennel experience is preferred but not required
- Must be comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
- Able to lift 40+ lbs and be active on your feet throughout the shift
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work well with a team
- Weekend and holiday availability required
