Groomer - Fort Worth, TX

Bring your passion and experience to Penny Paws Animal Clinic – Fort Worth! We are seeking an experienced groomer to join our dedicated team to support our loyal clients and adorable patients.

Our groomers ensure all pets are clean and healthy before leaving our grooming facility. The ideal candidate will have a background in pet grooming and a strong affinity for animals. This position involves both manual labor and communication with customers.

The ideal candidate is well-versed in grooming techniques and cuts for all breeds of cats and dogs and has excellent client service skills. A strong affinity for animals, current industry experience, and an established client base is a plus!

Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt and courteous service to all clients
• Care for pets and other animals by brushing, combing, bathing, shaving, and clipping fur and toenails
• Use a variety of groomer tools and equipment
• Handle animals gently 

Qualifications:

• Advanced grooming experience and precision grooming knowledge required
• Ability to properly restrain animals to ensure the safety of both pets and employees
• Ability to manage temperamental animals
• Able to work on feet all day and lift 50 pounds
• Possess excellent customer service skills and be highly attentive to detail
• Reliable, efficient, and a collaborative team player 

Equipment:

• Separate grooming room with bathing facilities

• Grooming Lift Table
• Shampoos/Conditioners etc provided
• Groomer provides own tools.
