Hawks Prairie Veterinary Hospital is hiring an Animal Care Provider!

Position Details

• Role: Animal Care Provider
• Status: Part-time
• Salary: Starts at $16.66 and is based on experience
• Schedule: 20 - 30 hours weekly with rotating opening and closing shifts, with rotating Saturdays

What Our ACPs Bring

• Must be 18+ and able to lift up to 50 lbs

• No experience required—we’ll show you the ropes

• Reliable, punctual, and passionate about animal welfare

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Friendly communicator with great customer service skills

What You’ll Do

• Care for and supervise pets: feeding, walking, and providing companionship

• Keep kennels and common areas clean and sanitized

• Assist with pet check-ins and check-outs

• Communicate warmly and professionally with pet owners

• Close down the kennel so it’s ready for the next day
