What Our Kennel Assistants Bring

• Animal care/kennel experience is a plus—but we’ll train the right person.

• Comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities.

• Team player who can also stay on task independently in a fast-moving environment.

• Detail-oriented, dependable, and genuinely kind to animals.

• Able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.

• Weekend, evening, and holiday availability.

What You’ll Do

• Give daily TLC to boarding and hospitalized pets (feeding, watering, comfy bedding, and safety checks).

• Walk, exercise, and provide enrichment so pets feel their best while with us.

• Keep kennels, runs, and common areas spotless and sanitized to AAHA standards.

• Lend a hand to the medical team with safe handling and gentle restraint.

• Watch for signs of stress or illness and flag concerns promptly.

• Deliver friendly, professional service—treat every pet as if it were your own.
